When Mary Ann + Roy first got engaged they shared the most beautiful proposal video. Roy had set up a go pro while they were out in the desert at a latern festival. A scene straight out of the movie Tangled – I swear. I on the other side of my phone cried happy tears for these two. Latewr down the road they reached out to me to photograph their wedding and I was honored.

Little did I know that wedding was going to be a destination wedding in San Diego. Now I’ll tell ya you don’t need the Pacific ocean as a backdrop to have a beautiful wedding, but boyyyyy it doesn’t hurt! You see San Diego was the city where these two old friends fell in love and became something more. San Diego held a special place in their hearts and this is where they chose to tie the knot with their closest friends and family present.

From the first look, to the ceremony, to the party filled reception featuring every line dance you could imagine + churros. It was the perfect day. Congratulations to Mr. + Mrs. Gonzalez. May the future bring more travels + adventures but forever more as husband + wife.
